First JUNO’s results now published in Nature
17/06/2026
We are delighted to announce that JUNO’s first physics result was published as a cover article in Nature on June 10.
Based on the analysis of valid data collected over 59 days, from August 26 to November 2, 2025, the JUNO Collaboration achieved a high-precision measurement of two key neutrino oscillation parameters. This result reduced the associated uncertainties by a factor of 1.6 compared with the combined experimental measurements obtained over the past decades.
The results were made public on arXiv in November 2025; see the corresponding IIHE news article for further details and the associated press release.
