During the Belgian-Dutch-German (BND) summer school for doctoral students,that this year was organized by the Rheinische Friedrich-Whilhelms-Universitat Bonn, student presentations were organized where the participating PhD students presented their work.
The presentation of Annik Olbrechts (VUB, promotor Prof. Jorgen D'Hondt) covering the measurement of the W-boson helicity fractions in top quark events with the CMS detector, was selected by the other students as best presentation. Annik received from the local organizing committee, prof. Dr. Jochen Dingefelder, the first prize of a bottle of wine.
