Alfonso Receives the GNN 2025 Thesis Dissertation Prize!
We are very pleased to share the great news that Alfonso Lazo Pedrajas has received the 2025 Thesis Dissertation Prize awarded by the Global Neutrino Network (GNN), together with two other recipients.
The GNN is an international organization that brings together neutrino telescope collaborations from around the world, including IceCube, KM3NeT, ANTARES, Baikal, P-ONE, and RNO-G. This recognition is awarded annually to outstanding doctoral theses in the field.
The title of Alfonso’s thesis is Neutrino Oscillations and the Search for Non-Standard Neutrino Interactions with KM3NeT/ORCA.
Alfonso completed his PhD at the University of Valencia within the KM3NeT experiment and is currently a postdoctoral researcher in the IIHE JUNO group.
